The story.

Octopus Electric Vehicles heavily relied on their brand as well as paid traffic to reach prospective customers and businesses. For this reason, they needed a well structured strategy, focusing on high quality content that would allow the client to rank for a variety of competitive keywords.

The goal.

The objective was to achieve a YoY uplift in organic clicks from Google to the site from 16,471 a month to 36,513 a month (121%) with a focus on improving clicks to their /ev-hub/ blog pages YoY as they struggled to produce content.

The approach.

We identified content gaps around the clients existing pillar topics as a start point as we felt this would likely be where a lot of their authority already was. This proved to be successful and gave us the perfect foundation to begin expanding on these topics, targeting a larger variety of keywords as well as improving topical authority.

The story.

After coming on board in 2020, Global FinTech brand, GoCardless, were struggling to break away from competitors and increase their visibility in the UK.

The goal.

Increase organic entrances and conversions via blog content. Increasing the authority of the site in a YMYL industry  (Your Money or Your Life topics are considered particularly delicate, and authority is key).

The approach.

We focused on creating content that would target all stages of the conversion funnel. In the beginning, we focused on informational content, these awareness pieces were key to increase our topical authority in the Fintech space.

We combined this with content that was more transactionally focused, targeted at a specific sub-personas and utilising longer tail keywords.
