Blue Array founder Simon Schnieders brings over a decade’s in-house SEO experience to his leadership of his own trademarked blend of agency and consultancy. Having delivered impressive SEO results for some of Europe’s leading brands, many with over a million indexable pages, Simon is well-placed to offer strategic advice on websites of all sizes.
Particularly experienced in working on large-scale SEO campaigns, Simon spent many years working as Head of SEO for the Zoopla Property Group Ltd, where he helped the brand achieve a 188% year-on-year increase in organic non-brand search. That followed similarly impressive results including a 130% year-on-year increase for Mail Online, which saw it overtake the New York Times as the world’s top online newspaper website. Before that, his SEO work achieved a 300% year-on-year organic non-brand search traffic increase for Yell.com.
The birth of Blue Array
Having previously worked with SEO agencies as a client, Simon had a deep understanding of some of the frustrations clients can encounter with traditional agencies. Taking what he learned from this and from the big SEO campaigns he’d worked on, Simon struck out on his own to launch Blue Array Ltd, trademarking the term ‘consulgency’ to describe a unique blend of consultancy and agency concentrating on SEO services and nothing else. And the rest, as they say, is history.
In addition to heading up Blue Array, Simon also finds time to pass on his business expertise as an angel investor and advisor at ClickMechanic.com, and as a mentor at 500 Startups, Wayra and MassChallenge.
